Yum-O

I just made chocolate and white chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels to bring to a luncheon that we are having at work tomorrow.

Don't they look delish??

Good news!

Sunday, today, and yesterday were rainy/sleety/slushy/snowy days.
I wore flats. Not the best idea ever. At all. I got home from work about 4 hours ago and I'm still cold!

I have a *crazy* story. Remember this post about the jacket incident?? Well, the day after I wrote that post I was at work when I noticed I had an email from a Land's End representative telling me that they wanted to help me solve my problem. I did not email them or try to contact them in anyway. Instead, they found my blog, read my post, and responded with how they could help me solve my problem. That's what I call customer service!! It seems like most companies don't even care once you bought their product what happens, but this one is different, they came to me to help me solve a problem. I am amazed.... so support them if you can. They have really great jackets, as I've said, and I love their canvas totes too!! Thank you land's end!! I am pretty sure a new warm and fuzzy down jacket is on it's way to me! : )

Have you watched Modern Family? If you haven't you must because it is SO funny and smart. I am watching it right now and it legit makes me laugh out loud! Check it ouuut!

Happy almost Thursday, everyone!! I love Thursdays.

Frustrated.

You know the warm, fuzzy coat I got for Christmas?? Well, two of the five buttons fell off of it within the first week of me having it and it didn't come with any other buttons. It was a really good jacket, but really? a week? This really annoyed me. I know I could have put two new brown buttons on but it really would have bothered me that they didn't all match perfectly.

It was from Land's End, but my Mom got it from the Land's End department at Sear's. I returned it with the receipt, and since my Mom got it on sale before Christmas, I got $65 dollars back.... the problem is that they didn't have any more of the coat in a color I liked.... only mustard yellow and smurf blue, ewww.

So, I asked if we could order it from Land's End in the store. They said sure. We tried but found out that it was $129.50 on landsend.com and somehow wasn't even listed on sears.com. The ugly colors in store were on sale for $60. Does that make any sense to you??

I really want to buy the same jacket back... but I don't really want to pay double the price for the EXACT same thing I already had for $60. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Now I wish I just kept the same jacket and had mismatched buttons.
Because now I have no warm, fuzzy jacket. UGHHHH. Any suggestions?
